Job Summary

A government solutions company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Systems Engineer Technical Leader.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Managing and mentoring a team of talented Linux engineers
  • Leading, providing technical guidance and maintaining operations standards
  • Providing leadership and technical expertise

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, or related field
  • 10+ years of related experience & 5 + years as a Lead
  • Strong RHEL/Linux/Unix background
  • In lieu of formal education 18 + years of related experience including Lead experience
  • Scripting experience (Shell/Perl/Python, or related language)
  • Deep understanding of network protocols and principles (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
