Job Summary

Providing effective audio and video interpreting services, the Independent Contractor International Audio/Video Remote Tagalog Interpreter will handle on-demand calls to facilitate communication for the Limited English Proficient community in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web-based platform
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner while delivering superior customer service
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining confidentiality and following professional interpretation protocols

Required qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Tagalog
• Proficiency in technology, including web-based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word
• A quiet, secure interpreting space free from outside noise
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry-specific certifications or training (e.g., CMI, CCHI) preferred
