Job Summary

A planning and consulting firm has an open position for a Remote Tax Advisor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Responding to electronically submitted tax and business questions
  • Reviewing of tax work from other firms
  • Assisting staff internally with client tax questions

Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in advising clients on tax strategies and structuring
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Have an excellent command of the Internal Revenue Code
  • Minimum CPA (Certified Public Accountant), JD (Juris Doctor), LLM (Master of Laws), or EA (Enrolled Agent)
  • Experience with the utilization of tax preparation and tax planning software
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
