Job Summary
A financial technology company specializing in mortgage loan automation is in need of a Remote Tax Analyst I in Jacksonville.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Prepare, review and file various reports for federal, state and local reporting as well as other areas of tax compliance
- Maintain current knowledge of tax laws, updates, and revisions and informs management of issues affecting company
- Review proposals for tax implications and recommend actions that meet business plans while managing tax liability
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related degree
- Continuing education and in compliance with all requirements to date
- Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as well as company accounting policies, procedures and standards
- Knowledge of federal, state and local income, use and sales tax concepts, practices and procedures
- Ability to analyze and solve problems, understand and apply concepts and possess analytical and statistical examination skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
