Job Summary

A retirement company has an open position for a Remote Tax Financial Operations Manager.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Monitoring and supporting daily, monthly, annual liability payment reconciliation, with an eye on accuracy and efficiency
  • Overseeing and ensuring filing of federal and state information returns within established timeframes
  • Leading production of plan participant information returns

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field or equivalent related experience
  • 4 or more years financial services, retirement plan and/or tax experience required, preferably with accounting/reconciliation expertise
  • Previous experience and familiarity with retirement plan federal and state level withholding and taxation
  • 2 or more years of supervisory experience in related industry
  • Familiarity with various types of tax forms, including but not limited to, 941, 945, 1099, W2, 1042-S, and 480.7C
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and stressful situations
