Job Summary

A financial technology company has a current position open for a Remote Tax Officer in Saint Louis.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Identifying and tracking accounts requiring final individual tax returns
• Engaging outside preparers and providing support on final individual tax returns
• Investigating missing required outside tax documents and assessing materiality

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 2 years' experience preparing or reviewing individual income tax returns required
• Knowledge of gifting, estate and income taxation
• Strong time management and organizational skills required
• Highly skilled in written and oral communication on complex tax matters
