Remote Tax Reporting and Compliance Director

Job Summary

A property and casualty insurance company has an open position for a Remote Tax Reporting and Compliance Director.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinating with Finance on the GAAP and STAT financial projections
• Effectively managing the external audit process for financial reporting
• Managing the federal and state income tax return preparation process

Position Requirements Include:

• 15 years’ experience in the property & casualty insurance industry
• Or in a tax practice of a major accounting firm working with insurance companies
• Experience in managing an insurance company federal and state income tax financial reporting
• Exposure to state premium and sales and use taxes
• Technical expertise and experience in insurance tax and tax accounting
• An undergraduate degree in accounting
