A property and casualty insurance company has an open position for a Remote Tax Reporting and Compliance Director.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinating with Finance on the GAAP and STAT financial projections
- Effectively managing the external audit process for financial reporting
- Managing the federal and state income tax return preparation process
Position Requirements Include:
- 15 years’ experience in the property & casualty insurance industry
- Or in a tax practice of a major accounting firm working with insurance companies
- Experience in managing an insurance company federal and state income tax financial reporting
- Exposure to state premium and sales and use taxes
- Technical expertise and experience in insurance tax and tax accounting
- An undergraduate degree in accounting
