Job Summary

A teletherapy program is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Teacher for the Visually Impaired in Fairfax.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Taking on a mild to moderate caseload in a Virginia school district
  • Teaching students that are blind, going blind, have limited site, or have another visual impairment
  • Teaching core curriculum, braille skills, Nemeth braille, and independent living strategies

Required Skills:

  • Master's Level Degree in Education for Teaching Visually Impaired Students
  • State Teaching Certification in Visual Education required by start of school
  • Any other applicable experience
