Job Summary
A company is looking for a Digital Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Denver.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual instruction and support to K-12 students with mild to moderate hearing impairments
- Design and implement individualized educational plans, including IEPs, tailored to each student's needs
- Utilize digital teaching tools and technology to deliver engaging and interactive lessons
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Active state teaching certification for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Experience working with students who have mild to moderate hearing impairments
- Familiarity with virtual teaching platforms and technology
- Knowledge of assessment tools and experience in developing IEPs
