Job Summary

A company is looking for a Digital Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Denver.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual instruction and support to K-12 students with mild to moderate hearing impairments
• Design and implement individualized educational plans, including IEPs, tailored to each student's needs
• Utilize digital teaching tools and technology to deliver engaging and interactive lessons

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Active state teaching certification for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Experience working with students who have mild to moderate hearing impairments
• Familiarity with virtual teaching platforms and technology
• Knowledge of assessment tools and experience in developing IEPs
