Job Summary
A progressive non-profit university is filling a position for a Remote Teacher Preparation Methods Practicum Instructor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Collaborating with faculty team to develop an effective student experience for students
- Facilitating courses by delivering engaging instruction in a blended, flipped classroom environment
- Empowering students to develop competency by sharing a passion for the subject and skills being taught
Position Requirements Include:
- Master’s degree in early childhood education, elementary or special education
- 5+ years of experience successfully teaching in a classroom setting
- Knowledge of the licensure system in Illinois
- Experience and knowledge about how to support teacher candidates in a practice based environment
- Specialized knowledge in math, science, social studies and/or literacy education with children K-6
- Experience working with assessments in an educational setting
