Job Summary
An online educational institution is filling a position for a Remote Teaching and Learning Dissertation Committee Member.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Serve on doctoral candidates’ dissertation committees as a member or a chair
- Review candidate dissertation drafts and provide substantive feedback and guidance
- Support candidates in completing necessary doctoral processes such as submissions for internal reviews and IRB approvals
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Earned terminal degree in a field associated with the doctoral programs such as leadership, education, and healthcare
- Evidence of professional research and/or scholarly endeavors and expertise in the field
- Capable of interpreting and writing an analysis of sophisticated educational research documents
- Proven teaching experience in higher education, remote experience preferred
- Skill in using Microsoft Office Suite applications proficiently
- Ability to use or learn how to use appropriate technology, including video conferencing and learning management systems
