Job Summary
Providing subject matter expertise and technical support, the full-time Remote Team Lead will guide and train staff members, ensuring compliance with CMS guidelines and meeting departmental goals.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and support Appeals Specialists, Clerks, and Analysts by providing expertise and training
- Utilize knowledge of contract processes to assist with automated tasks and case file requests
- Facilitate meetings to discuss quality measures and ensure adherence to company policies
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three years of general office experience, with education in administration or business potentially substituting for experience
- One year of experience in Mailroom, Medicare appeals, or Managed Care appeals
- Preferred experience in Managed Care, Quality Letter System (QLS), or Medicare Appeal System (MAS)
