Job Summary
Providing subject matter expertise remotely, the full-time Team Lead will support staff through technical assistance and training while overseeing appeals processes and ensuring compliance with CMS guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a lead staff member and subject matter expert for various roles including Appeals Specialists and Intake Specialists
- Assist with questions related to contract processes and ensure compliance with CMS guidelines
- Facilitate meetings to discuss quality measures and provide training to staff
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three years of general office experience, with education in administration or business potentially substituting for experience
- One year of experience in Mailroom, Medicare appeals, Managed Care appeals, or the Healthcare industry
- Preferred experience with Medicare Part C related appeals activities
- Familiarity with Quality Letter System (QLS) and Medicare Appeal System (MAS) is preferred
