Remote Team Lead

Job Summary

Providing subject matter expertise remotely, the full-time Team Lead will support staff through technical assistance and training while overseeing appeals processes and ensuring compliance with CMS guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a lead staff member and subject matter expert for various roles including Appeals Specialists and Intake Specialists
• Assist with questions related to contract processes and ensure compliance with CMS guidelines
• Facilitate meetings to discuss quality measures and provide training to staff

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Three years of general office experience, with education in administration or business potentially substituting for experience
• One year of experience in Mailroom, Medicare appeals, Managed Care appeals, or the Healthcare industry
• Preferred experience with Medicare Part C related appeals activities
• Familiarity with Quality Letter System (QLS) and Medicare Appeal System (MAS) is preferred
