Job Summary
A consumer electronics retailer is filling a position for a Remote Technical Application Security Assessor.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Performing penetration testing on Applications and Systems
- Assessing and reporting security weaknesses and their risk
- Configuring and operating security assessment tools
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years of direct full-time information security, penetration testing, software development, or software engineering
- Familiarity with popular web application languages and platforms
- Understanding of application security vulnerabilities, testing techniques, and the OWASP framework
- Experience with intercepting proxies, dynamic analysis tools, or static analysis tools
- Knowledge of secure development of web applications, mobile applications or thick client applications
