Job Summary

A machine data software platform is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Technical Cloud Pre-Sales Consultant.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Lead calls and interactive discussions with account teams and customers to kick off engagements
  • Validate Cloud stacks for architecture and data validation
  • Identify obstacles in the current Cloud POV process and lead programs to remove them

Qualifications Include:

  • Familiarity with SaaS and ideally Splunk Cloud and the Cloud POV program
  • Experience working for a legacy software that transitioned into a SaaS provider is valued
  • Experience working directly with end customers in sales situations
  • Strong communications (verbal and writing) skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment
  • Relevant software industry experience per enterprise or infrastructure management, security, and more
