Job Summary
An independent game development company has a current position open for a Remote Technical Designer.
Must be able to:
- Prototype and validate complex design systems and collaborate with engineering on their implementation
- Collaborate with the design team on game system design and develop technical strategies for implementation
- Research new technologies and techniques to improve game performance and user experience
Position Requirements Include:
- Proficiency with Unreal Engine and Blueprint
- Strong understanding of game systems and the ability to explain why/how they work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to drive design concepts through prototyping, validation and implementation
- Experience with (or passion for) survival, builder or open world games
