Remote Technical Director

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Remote Technical Director will operate video switchers and automation systems during live events, ensuring quality control and executing the in-game vision as directed by the Event Show Director and production partners.

Key responsibilities:

• Operates as Technical Director during live events, managing video sources and maintaining high-quality standards
• Collaborates with Event Operations and Content Production teams to plan production needs and participates in preparatory meetings
• Trains and develops fellow operations staff through workshops and training sessions on technology enhancements

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in broadcast or technical operations
• Strong knowledge of production workflows, remote transport systems, and telecom services
• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Ability to lift more than 50lbs and work during nights, holidays, and weekends
• Deep understanding of video, audio, graphics, and replay equipment
