Remote Technical Director

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Remote Technical Director will manage live event productions by operating video switchers and automation systems, ensuring quality control and executing the in-game vision as directed by the Event Show Director.

Key responsibilities

• Operates as Technical Director during live events, executing visual requirements and managing multiple feeds while maintaining communication with production teams
• Collaborates with the Event Operations team to plan production needs and participates in planning meetings and prep sessions
• Trains and develops fellow operations staff through various training methods, enhancing technical skills and operational knowledge

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in broadcast or technical operations
• Strong knowledge of production workflows and operating systems
• Experience with remote transport and transmission systems
• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to lift more than 50lbs and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
