Job Summary
A commercial company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Technical Editor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Editing, standardizing and updating material prepared by other writers or establishment personnel
- Preparing manuals, pamphlets, letters and other documentation
- Recommending revisions or changes in scope, format, content and methods of reproduction and binding
Qualifications for this position include:
- Master level in Word / PDF writer and SharePoint
- Master level PC skills to include Microsoft software
- BA/BS degree in a related field and 3 year of related experience, or equivalent
- Experience in technical editing of multiple volume documents
- Excellent writing, spelling and grammar skills
- Experience in performing technical editing of large, complex CERCLA and RCRA documents
