Job Summary

A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Technical Escalations Quality Assurance Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Tracking escalated issues and drive improvements to prevent recurrence
  • Conducting software testing on escalated issues and help with manual regression testing
  • Writing integration or UI tests to help catch issues before they go to production

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • BS in Math, Engineering, Computer Science or similar field
  • 2+ years experience in a technical QA or Tier 2 support role
  • Agile software development and the tools that are leveraged to drive it (Jira, Git, BitBucket, AWS)
  • Familiarity with statically typed Languages such as C# or Java as well as Javascript/Typescript
