Job Summary
A nonprofit is seeking a Remote Technical Expert International Consultant.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Working under an overall technical guidance of the task team lead and/or designate
- Being evaluated by supervisor upon the completion of each deliverable of the contract
- Reporting to the Head of Climate Change Adaptation and/or his designate on a routine basis and coordinate his/her efforts to match the timelines of the assignments
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Duty Station: Home based with possible travel
- Master's degree in social sciences, international development, or environment and geography with specific academic or professional experience in working with persons with disabilities, social minorities or underrepresented populations.
- At least 5 years of experience related to disability work, advocacy, mobility planning, disability inclusion in disaster risk reduction, climate resilience or other closely related fields
- Experience providing technical research to experts in support of formulation of projects/programmes/proposals
