Job Summary
A developer of electric vehicle charging technology is filling a position for a Remote Technical Illustrator Animator in Campbell.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Produce state of the art, photo-realistic, localized and up-to-date 2D/3D digital image and animation assets
- Apply detailed and correct part attributes (color, material, texture, printing, decals, etc.) to digital models
- Collaborate with technical writers to produce intuitive and easy to understand rendered images, illustrations and animations
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Image and animation creation skills utilizing Keyshot 9
- Ability to create photo-realistic images and renderings based off existing CAD, 2D drawings and product specifications
- Ability to alter images/animations with Adobe CC Suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent
- CAD creation skills – ability to create and/or modify parts to reflect the nature of the image needs utilizing Solidworks or the equivalent
- Strong aesthetic skills mixed with mechanical and material knowledge
- Prior experience creating illustrations for technical documentation and training
