Remote Technical Product Writer

Job Summary

A financial services company has a current position open for a Remote Technical Product Writer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Writing functional specifications for system enhancements to our loan origination software
• Meeting with engineers, programmers, and product managers to learn about specific products or processes
• Adhering to the company style guide and Chicago Manual of Style

Position Requirements Include:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, English, Marketing, Business, or another relevant field
• 2-5 years of Technical Writing experience with a strong emphasis on creating content in a software-related environment
• 2-5 years of SAAS/PAAS writing experience is strongly preferred
• Experience working with engineering to produce technical documentation
• Ability to work autonomously and not be micromanaged
