Job Summary

A technology company has a current position open for a Remote Technical Support Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Asking customers targeted questions to quickly understand root cause of their issue
  • Communicating with end-users via various channels (phone, email, GoToMeeting) to identify/resolve technical issues
  • Being available for incoming calls and pull work from an incoming queue

Qualifications Include:

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role with BS/BA degree
  • Technical expertise in email components for troubleshooting purposes
  • Email security; Settings; Exchange; Protocols
  • Understand: SSO, Certificates
  • Know the following: proxy servers, routers, gateways
  • Experience providing prompt and accurate feedback to customers acting with consistent urgency
