Job Summary

A healthcare IT firm is filling a position for a Remote Technical Writer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Reviewing, editing, and preparing client documents for publication and dissemination
  • Establishing document repository organization
  • Write and edit plain language content

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% to customer sites as needed
  • Working experience with JIRA, Confluence, or IBM Jazz Rational tools
  • Experience creating software documentation and related project documentation
  • At least 5 years of engineering documentation and/or technical writing experience
  • Emerging knowledge in one or more professional or technical specialty area on work assignments
  • Bachelor’s and a min 5 years of experience or an additional 6 years of related experience can substitute degree requirement
