Job Summary

A software development company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Technical Writer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Provide technical writing expertise related to emerging technologies and their implications on federal government operations and policies.
• Research public policy requirements on technology from federal, state, and local governments
• Analyze software specifications to recommend policy recommendations

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT technical writing
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and other collaboration platforms
• An understanding of government policies and laws pertaining to Information Technology (preferred)
• Excellent technical writing skills including research and policy documentation
• Hard working, self-motivated individual who is comfortable handling ambiguity and able to successfully complete tasks within deadlines with limited supervision
• Ability to analyze and synthesize information to draw accurate, logical, and actionable conclusions
