Job Summary
A custodian and financial broker-dealer has a current position open for a Remote Technology Associate Vice President.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Partnering with our Enterprise Architect teams to implement patterns for high-availability and disaster recovery solutions
- Working with the Cloud team, partners and third party consultants to design and implement Infrastructure as Code frameworks
- Providing expertise in container technologies, with specific emphasis on Docker and Kubernetes
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud-scale application architecture and design using modern frameworks
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing public cloud solutions
- Strong understanding of modern patterns such as Test Driven Development, Dependency Injection, event-oriented architecture, etc
- Certification in one or more AWS or Azure disciplines
- Advanced understanding of cloud technology, with specific emphasis on AWS' serverless and cognitive services
