Job Summary

A social technology company has a current position open for a Remote Technology Development Operations Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Acting as a technical expert on connect development and operations
  • Tracking and continuously improving Lead Time, Mean Time to Restore and Deployment Frequency
  • Hiring, mentoring and growing a world-class DevOps team

Required Skills:

  • This position requires 5% travel
  • Proven track record evangelizing DevOps principles with an organization
  • At least 5 years' experience in DevOps engineering
  • At least 3 years of proven managerial experience including hiring, managing and mentoring
  • Expertise in modern tooling (e.g. JIRA, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and system administration tasks in Linux and Unix
