Job Summary

A travel data company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Technology Web Infrastructure Senior Backend Software Engineer in Houston.

Must be able to:

  • Articulate a long term vision for maintaining and scaling our SaaS backend systems and the teams running them
  • Working with engineers, product owners, and senior leadership to help turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap
  • Write high quality well tested code to meet the needs of our customers

Qualifications for this position include:

  • At least five years engineering experience building modern web and SaaS applications
  • Experience in technical leadership roles
  • Experience with Kubernetes, containerization and scalable cloud infrastructure
  • You write excellent, well-documented and highly tested code
  • Passionate about improving the technology platform and organization
  • Experience working with modern distributed backend web infrastructure
