Job Summary
A telecommunications company has an open position for a Remote Telecommunications Category Manager II.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional sourcing teams
- Develop service level agreements (SLA)
- Manage associated sourcing projects
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience
- 5+ years’ sourcing or procurement experience
- Knowledge and understanding of supply chain, category management, strategic sourcing, negotiations and contracting concepts
- Experience or demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage projects and achieve project goals
- Knowledge of, and experience with, ERP (particularly SAP), Contract Management and E-Sourcing Systems
- Knowledge of the telecommunications or wireless industry is beneficial
