Job Summary

A fiber optics telecommunications company is in need of a Remote Telecommunications Customer Engagement Specialist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Serving as primary support liaison between company and our residential customers
  • Providing technical telephone, IPTV, and Internet support to customers and answer complex questions on function and usage of products
  • Performing follow-up testing, and/or troubleshooting in order to assist customers with the most accurate and timely response to their technical support issue(s)

Qualifications for this position include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience in customer service, telecommunications, or technical support
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and patience in highly stressful situations and adapt quickly to change
  • Knowledge of communications technology, including but not limited to, voice, internet, cable and security products preferred
  • Ability to use investigative skills to ascertain the nature of the caller’s concerns and develop an action plan to resolve issues
