Job Summary
A fiber optics telecommunications company is in need of a Remote Telecommunications Customer Engagement Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Serving as primary support liaison between company and our residential customers
- Providing technical telephone, IPTV, and Internet support to customers and answer complex questions on function and usage of products
- Performing follow-up testing, and/or troubleshooting in order to assist customers with the most accurate and timely response to their technical support issue(s)
Qualifications for this position include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience in customer service, telecommunications, or technical support
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and patience in highly stressful situations and adapt quickly to change
- Knowledge of communications technology, including but not limited to, voice, internet, cable and security products preferred
- Ability to use investigative skills to ascertain the nature of the caller’s concerns and develop an action plan to resolve issues
