Job Summary

A scientific research company has an open position for a Remote Telecommunications Technician.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Operating and managing VoIP/PBX/telecommunications systems and associated hardware
  • Ensuring that adequate and appropriate planning is provided
  • Providing coordination in the analysis, acquisition and installation of remote hardware and software

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 25% travel
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Current DoD 8570 IA Baseline Certification, IAT Level I (A+ CE, Network+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security)
  • Must obtain appropriate DoD 8570 IA Computing Environment Certification within 6 months
  • Interim Secret Clearance required prior to start
  • Must meet all other listed company requirements
