Job Summary

A translation services provider has an open position for a Remote Telephonic Government Intepreter.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing the highest level of customer service during interpreting sessions
  • Meeting interpreter quality standards set by TTQ department
  • Continuously expanding vocabulary and knowledge of subject matter required for various clients

Position Requirements Include:

  • A high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 year of previous interpretation experience required for languages
  • U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident living within the U.S. for the past 3 years
  • Professional Proficiency in over-the-phone consecutive interpretation required
  • Ability to communicate effectively across cultures
  • Successfully pass both a general employment and federal background investigation
