Job Summary
A health insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Telephonic Psychiatric RN Care Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assessing, evaluating, and supporting members who are challenged by serious mental illness and/or substance use
- Providing support for both mind and body to allow each member to achieve and/or maintain their optimal health
- Employing a variety of strategies, approaches, and techniques to manage a member's physical, environmental, and psycho-social health
Position Requirements Include:
- Minimum 2 years in an integrated care setting managing members with both Behavioral Health needs and/or Substance Use
- Active Registered Nurse license and possess the ability to be licensed as a registered nurse in multiple states without restrictions
- Intermediate comprehension of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Teams, and Outlook
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective problem solving and appropriate application of clinical knowledge
