Job Summary
A publishing company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Term of Project Editor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Reviewing and editing text thoroughly for correct grammar, syntax, usage, style, and consistency
- Proofreading rendered copy at various stages of development with a goal of 100% accuracy
- Verifying edits and ensuring uniformity and consistency across components
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, or other related discipline or work experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree
- At least three years of copyediting experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of all phases of assessments, including processing, scoring, and reporting of assessments
- Professionally tailored and strong verbal and written communication skills required
