Job Summary

A staffing agency needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Test Drive Development DevOps Engineer in San Jose.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues in production and non-production environments
  • Building highly responsive production-ready applications using Node.js and Python
  • Translating requirements and user stories into design specifications and solid code

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Proficiency in full-stack JavaScript, Node.js and Python: Python (80%) / Node.js (20%)
  • Prior experience with full-stack development of Cloud/SaaS Applications
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in computer science or, related field of study.
  • Understanding of algorithmic techniques, design patterns, and best practices
  • Experience working with Docker Containers and relevant container orchestration systems
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code using modern server platforms such as GoLang, Python, or Node.js
