Job Summary

A software development company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Test Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Writing clear, actionable bug reports
  • Performing all phases of software testing
  • Working closely with engineering and production teams to ensure quick turnaround on fixes

Qualifications Include:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a software tester
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills - verbal, written, and electronic
  • Strong knowledge of various software testing methods and tools
  • Exceptional focus and attention to detail
  • Ability to efficiently balance thoroughness of test case coverage with speed of test passes and release
  • Experience creating effective test plans and test cases
