Job Summary

A software development and IT services company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Test Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Write and execute functional, exploratory, and regression test plans
  • Perform cross-platform testing on browsers and devices
  • Provide ongoing support including reporting, replicating, and verifying defects and defect fixes

Qualifications Include:

  • Demonstrated understanding of the philosophy around User Experience (UX) and how to test applications with regards to its usability
  • Proven knoweldge about industry best practices and software QA methods including Exploratory Testing
  • Proven understanding of the software development life cycle as well as the business approach for the product
  • Ability to prioritize manual, exploratory, and automation tasks for a feature
  • Experience implementing test plans, manual testing, automated UI testing, and regression testing
  • Experience using multiple devices and operating systems, including iOS, Android, and Windows
