A health insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Therapist Reviewer in Glendale.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Notifying ordering physician or rendering service provider office of the pre-authorization determination decision
- Conducting initial medical necessity clinical review
- Receiving pre-authorization requests from front-line intake
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Able to attend a 2-3 week training session at the Glendale, CA location
- Physical, Speech, and Occupational Therapists with a current, valid unrestricted license in the State of California
- Familiarity with managed health care programs including HMO, PPO, and POS
