Job Summary

A technology company that specializes in cybersecurity is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Threat Analyst I.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Review current product detections
• Perform tasks to enable detection false positive reduction
• Analyze binary files to determine if they are legitimate

Qualifications Include:

• BA/BS or MA/MS degree or equivalent experience
• Exposure and understanding of different types and functionality of malware
• Fundamental understanding of attributes of binary files
• Practical knowledge of research / collection skills and analytical methods
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages, in particular Python
