Remote Threat Researcher

Job Summary

A technology company has an open position for a Remote Threat Researcher.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Leading cyber threat research/analysis and pattern/trend research
• Analyzing malware and malicious URLs to determine risk
• Performing analysis on threat actors and their capabilities

Required Skills:

• Ability to present at conferences
• Minimum 2 years in security/threat intelligence industry
• Background in cybersecurity threat investigations and data analysis
• Understanding of the “dark web” and underground cybercrime ecosystems
• Strong background with security/malware/threat research and analysis
• Experience with technologies such as APT, identity systems, IDS/IPS, firewalls, etc
