Job Summary
A appliance protection plan provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Tier 1 Support Technician in Charlotte.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Acknowledging, evaluating and appropriately handling appointments, calls and emails
- Providing remote technical support to customers
- Identifying technical issues by thoroughly examining systems using diagnostic tools
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to communicate technical issues in a manner for non-technical individuals can understand
- Must be well versed in resolving all common computer problems
- Extensive knowledge of personal computer hardware, Windows OS, application support, peripherals, and networking
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service through verbal and written medium
- 3 years minimum desktop or call center support for all of the standard windows based systems
