Job Summary

An internet technology company has an open position for a Remote Tooling Support and Automations Security Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Helping create visibility into the current state across the company
  • Maintaining and extending Cloud (AWS) based tools
  • Helping define processes for system patching and hardening

Position Requirements Include:

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent degree
  • Knowledge of Monitoring systems (Icinga, Sensu, Nagios etc)
  • Experience with Windows and Linux (Server) OS, maintenance and system configuration and event analysis
  • Experience with security endpoint management frameworks
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (such as Python, Go, PowerShell)
  • Experience with ServiceNow development
