Job Summary

a provider of cloud software for the enterprise contact center market is seeking a Remote Tools and Monitoring Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Perform routine maintenance (version upgrades, configuration changes) on Company's Elastic stack deployments
  • Deploy capacity and architectural changes to handle growth in data volume
  • Virtualize and containerize deployments

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Having 4+ years recent relevant experience providing performing maintenance, monitoring, and configuration work, in a 7x24x365 technical operations environment
  • Having advance technical knowledge in Elastic stack (beats, logstash, elasticsearch, kibana)
  • Having strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Having strong technical knowledge in at least two of the following categories: Advanced Python scripting; Kafka; Linux Systems Administration and Troubleshooting; Monitoring platforms similar to Zabbix / Logic; or Monitor Puppet Modules creation and maintenance
