Job Summary
A non-profit transgender support organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Trans People Services Microgrants Program Director in Oakland.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing overall functioning of the Microgrants department
- Managing and supervising the Microgrants team
- Facilitating communications between the Microgrants team and the wider organization
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Effective and diverse project management experience
- Extensive experience managing staff and/or volunteers
- Fluency in issues of racialized and gendered oppressions
- A demonstrated commitment to justice and liberation for transgender people
- Experience with trauma-informed support
- Experience organizing in trans communities and communities of color
