Job Summary
An employee benefits provider is seeking a Remote Transactions and Contracts Counsel Associate Vice President.
Must be able to:
- Draft, negotiate, and develop complex contracts such as licenses, SaaS and other cloud agreements
- Provide legal support to designated business units and manages workflow from and relationships
- Participate in multi-disciplinary legal teams to address emerging issues
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- J.D. plus admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
- 5 years of relevant experience and demonstrated achievement in a business, corporate or other legal environment
- Knowledge of the state and federal regulatory environment
- Demonstrated leadership qualities including ability to build effective working relationships with key constituents
- Insurance knowledge preferred, including reinsurance
- Demonstrated excellent legal judgment
