Remote Transcriptionist

Job Summary

Transcribing healthcare documentation remotely, the full-time Transcriptionist will accurately transcribe and edit medical reports while maintaining data integrity and compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe and edit inpatient/outpatient medical reports at a minimum of 175 lines per hour with 98% accuracy
• Gather and verify patient information prior to documentation completion and resolve routing issues
• Report safety incidents and maintain confidentiality while complying with relevant regulations and training requirements

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or coursework in medical terminology preferred
• AHDI certification (RHDS, CMT, or CHDS) preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience preferred
