Job Summary
A telecommunications and software company is seeking a Remote Transport Engineer I in Atlanta.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Planning, scheduling and reporting the progress of projects for which he/she is responsible
- Work with Fiber Optic Transmission equipment, Remote Terminals, Alarming, Synchronization, DC Power, Superstructure and site layout
- Fulfill expansion order activity for assigned projects
Qualifications for this position include:
- An Engineering Degree or equivalent direct experience in detail and fiber optic system engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good organization and documentation skills
- Project Management skills
- Technical writing skills
- Intermediate skills with Excel, Visio, Word and Access
