Job Summary
A transportation technology and freight matching solutions company is seeking a Remote Transportation and Freight Billing Agent.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Receiving calls from customers regarding billing questions
- Providing information to customers by verifying their requests, answering questions, and offering assistance
- Verifying the accuracy of billing data and correcting errors or resolving discrepancies as necessary
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic math
- Ability to perform accurate data entry and pay attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including working with upset customers
- Ability to review status on accounts and schedule reminders to follow up as needed
- Ability to prepare itemized statements, bills, or invoices, and record amounts due for customer items purchased or services rendered
