Job Summary
A fashion company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Transportation Strategic Sourcing Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Analyzing highly complex data and market industry information from multiple sources
- Identifying unique sources for data and information to leverage in category strategy and influencing
- Conducting opportunity assessments, benchmarking, cost modeling and root cause analysis
Required Skills:
- Industry knowledge of Transportation and Logistics suppliers and their processes
- 3 years of experience with procurement analytics and sourcing
- Advanced analytical skills, adept in business planning, financial management, and budget management
- Contract redlining experience
- Strong knowledge of external market analysis, macro-economic drivers, sourcing category strategy, etc
- Knowledge of critical procurement legal requirements and contracting best practices
